Amanda Michelle Yarbrough, of Ellerbe, and Ricky Chad Hill, of Bennett, were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Ellerbe First United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Donald Daniel and the Rev. Darrell Williams performed the ceremony.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at the National Golf Club in Pinehurst.

The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Bonnie Yarbrough, of Ellerbe. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mauyer Hancock, Betty Yarbrough and the late Ashley Yarbrough, all of Ellerbe. A 2000 graduate of Richmond Senior High School, she earned her bachelor of arts degree in communications disorders from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She is attending North Carolina Central University in Durham pursuing a master's of education degree in speech language pathology and is employed with First Bank, Southern Pines.

The groom is the son of Ricky and Tami Hill, of Bennett. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Hill, of Bennett, and the late Roger Hussey and the late Christine Hussey, of Westmoore. A 1999 graduate of North Moore High School in Robbins, he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Catawba College, Salisbury, in 2003. He was an All-Conference and All-Regional baseball player at Catawba. He is currently a career technical education teacher at Union Pines High School, Cameron, where he coaches football and baseball.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Matthew Bowles, organist; Elizabeth Moss, Mark and Darla Landers were soloists.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Ronnie and Bonnie Yarbrough. She wore a white strapless satin A-line gown designed with a cuff neckline and a pleated red sash at the waist. Her veil was tipped with red ribbon and she wore a tiara of garnets, diamonds and pearls. She carried the white Bible that her mother carried in her wedding. Her bridal bouquet was of red and white roses, white calla lilies and red berries.

Stacy Griffin, of Greenville, was maid of honor. She wore an apple red satin mock two-piece halter ball gown with back pickup detail. She carried three long-stemmed red roses adorned with white ribbon.

Bridesmaids were the bride's cousins, Candace Williams, of Wilmington, and Toni Saunders, of West End, the groom's sister, Alicia Hill, of Bennett, Nicole Baker, of Pinebluff, Devlyn Davis and Jennifer Graham, both of Aberdeen, and Emma Lambeth, of Raleigh. They wore black gowns identical to the maid of honor's. Each attendant carried a long-stemmed red rose accented with white ribbon.

Jordan Shepard of Ellerbe, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a floor-length white satin gown with an apple red sash tied at the empire waist. A halo of red roses was pinned in her hair.

The groom chose his father, Ricky Hill, of Bennett, as best man.

Groomsmen were the groom's uncle, Ronnie Morgan, of Tucson, Ariz., the bride's cousin, Todd Williams, of Hamlet, the bride's brother, Brandon Yarbrough, of Ellerbe, Freddy Suggs, of Rockingham, Kiel Medlin, of Greenville, Blair Reynolds, of Hagerstown, Md., and the groom's cousin, Seth Maness, of West End.

Ben Landers, of Bennett, was ring bearer.

The newlyweds left for a wedding trip to an undisclosed destination. They will make their home in Aberdeen.
