Therman Andrews, 75, of Sanford, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Central Carolina Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday (today), Feb. 16, 2007, at Northview Christian Church, 3301 Hawkins Ave., Sanford. Burial will follow in Lee Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford.

Mr. Andrews was born on Feb. 6, 1932, to the late Earl and Ida (Goins) Andrews in Montgomery County. He was retired from GKN Automotive where he worked as a machine operator for 15+ years. He currently worked with the Lee County Recycling Center on Hwy. 42.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Smith Andrews; three sisters, Betty Ann, Virginia and Jane Dunn; and three brothers, Asbury, Jack and Charles Andrews.

Mr. Andrews is survived by his children, Arlene Phaneuf of Milford, Conn., Michael Andrews of St. Paul, Minn., Susan Andrews and Maureen Andrews, both of Granby, Mass., Wayne Andrews of Cape Carteret, Julie Davila of Oceanside, Calif., and Mary Lou Furtek of Monson, Mass.; three brothers, James Andrews and Jesse Andrews, both of Troy, and Floyd Andrews of Robbins; one sister, Ruby Johnson of Asheboro; his step-children, Lavon Wood and Cathy Gales, both of Sanford, Allen Carroll of Harrells, and Danny Carroll of Lexington, S.C.; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Boles Funeral Home in Sanford.
