Young Musicians Concert Set for Sunday

The next concert of the Moore County Music Society will be the annual Young Musicians Concert on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 3:30 p.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen.

This will be a diverse program featuring piano, violin, cello, guitar, harp and also vocal selections for soprano, tenor and baritone.

The chosen selections will be presented as solos, duets and trios.

The students who will perform are: Caroline, Catherine and Sarah Cox, Christopher John Lach, Chase Johnson, Katie Terry, Rob Womack, Robert McFadyen, Thomas Matthew Banks, Christopher Richard, Sam Strobel, Kathryn Thornton, Katie Terry, Ben Dunlop, Sarah Wilkison, Jessica Richard, Kaitlyn Johnson, Andrew McFadyen, Kamaira Phillips, Emily Strobel and Mollyrose Milewski.

Karen Collins, Amelia Rose Ehrhardt Moz, Leslie Alperin, Ruth Sinclair, Valerie Stancik, Danny Infantino, Robin Lynne Frye, Dr. Doris Powers and Laurie Muirhead are the musicians' teachers.

The Moore County Music Society is an organization that features many highly regarded professional musicians of the area as well as the Young Musicians Concert.

"All music-lovers are encouraged to attend the concerts, which are free and open to the public," says a spokesman.
