I recently attended an open house at the Sandhills Classical Christian School located in the Sandhills PCA Church on Pee Dee Road in Southern Pines. What a delight to see children being educated in such an exemplary manner.

Not only was the content of the classical curriculum most impressive, but also the fact that the school uses the Judeo-Christian heritage as its foundation of learning gives me great hope that a younger generation is being trained uniquely for the leadership positions of tomorrow.

My hat is off to the capable "pioneers" that are working diligently to establish such an exceptional educational alternative for the children in our area.
