The Moore County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a State of the State luncheon Monday, April 23, in which members will be provided a legislative update from the North Carolina House and Senate leadership.
This is the second in the 2007 series providing members with information that helps them as business owners and as citizens in the community.
"We are very fortunate to have our state elected officials -- Sen. Harris Blake and Rep. Joe Boylan -- serving as the speakers for this event," said Patrick J. Coughlin, president and CEO of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce. "This is an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand what legislation is being considered in the General Assembly that may have a direct impact on our Moore County business community. We encourage all from the business community to attend."
The State of the State will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at National Golf Club.
The cost is $25 and includes your lunch. Please register by calling the Chamber at 692-3926 or by e-mailing cgeerdes@ncrr biz.com.
