Wilma B. McKenzie, 82, of Eagle Springs, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2006, at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 2, at Eagle Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, at Boles Funeral Home in Seven Lakes.

Mrs. McKenzie was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Eagle Springs, to the late Andrew B. and Essie Templeton Blake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. McKenzie.

Mrs. McKenzie is survived by a son, Robert L. McKenzie of Eagle Springs; a daughter, Brenda Faye Finch of Harrisburg; sisters, Irene Hausey of Tobaccoville, Marie Comer and Jeannette Lewis, both of Candor; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
