The Union Pines girls' tennis team stayed undefeated this season while picking up two more wins last week in Cape Fear Valley Conference play.

The Vikings defeated Harnett Central 9-0 in a home match Thursday after beating visiting Gray's Creek 9-0 on Wednesday.

Maura Lenahan claimed four wins in the two matches, and is now 82-11 for her career at the school. She is the 31st girls' player at the school to pass the 80-win mark. Anna Maness joined Lenahan in Thursday's match to win at No. 2 doubles, improving her career record at the school to a perfect 17-0.

The Vikings are now 11-0, all in conference. Union Pines continues its run through conference play when it travels to Harnett Central on Monday.
