Lydia Mary Clark, 84, of Southern Pines, formerly of Seven Lakes, died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. She was a resident of St. Joseph of the Pines in Southern Pines.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Seven Lakes Chapel in the Pines, with the Rev. Larry Booth officiating.

Mrs. Clark was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Alpine, N.J., to the late Joseph Kolacia and Mary Sebasta Kolacia. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and do crafts as a hobby.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Clark, and one son, Jeffrey Joseph Clark.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, John Craig Clark of Collierville, Tenn.; her four daughters, Joanne Eileen Santangello of West Milford, N.J., Nancy Elizabeth Markwardt of Palm Springs, Calif., Linda Susan Booth of Satellite Beach, Fla., and Deborah Agnes Marano of Camden, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Clark to Pinetree Enterprises, P.O. Box 21, West End, NC 27376.

Boles Funeral Home of Seven Lakes is serving the family.
