Marjorie M. Bray, 88, of Yardley, Pa., died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006 at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thompson Memorial Cemetery, New Hope, Pa.

Born in Abington, Pa., Mrs. Bray resided in Southern Pines for 20 years. She had lived in Yardley for the past six years. She was a member of the Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, the CBS Bible Study and the Bible Study at the Bible Evangelical Free Church. She enjoyed gardening and painting.

Mrs. Bray was preceded in death by her husband, George March Bray; and by her granddaughter Rebecca March Bray.

She is survived by her two children, Walter E. Bray of Yardley, Pa., and Susan B. DuChateau of Naperville, Ill.; two sisters, Edith Bessey and Pat Simpson, both of Ambler, Pa.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, GA, c/o Dr. Charles Stanley, pastor; or to the Bible fellowship of the Bible Evangelical Free Church, 725 Oxford Valley Road, Yardley, PA 19067; or to the Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1680 Aquetong Road, New Hope, PA 18938.

Arrangements are under the direction of FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, Yardley, PA.
