Two area government bodies will hold regularly scheduled meetings tonight.

The Southern Pines Town Council held a work session at 3 p.m. today in the Douglass Community Center, at 1185 W. Pennsylvania Ave.

The agenda was expected to include a recommendation on a draft ordinance for regulations governing new commercial architectural plans, prepared by Clearscapes Inc. of Raleigh.

The meeting is open to the public.

The Moore County Schools Board of Education also held a work session today to tweak policy codes.
