Stampley Walden doesn't have a left foot.

But if you saw him walking down the hall to a physical therapy appointment at FirstHealth Moore Regional -- two months after an Aug. 22 boating accident caused him to lose all of his left leg below his knee -- you'd think the Union Pines senior was just another athlete with a sprained ankle and a slight limp.

"I had somebody ask me the other day what leg it was," he says, proud and a little bit incredulous.
