Aberdeen police arrested a West End man Tuesday on various drug charges and resisting arrest.

Telly Savalas Jones, 31, of 170 Green Acres Drive, was charged with possession of schedule II, crack cocaine, possession with intent to sell or deliver crack coacine and deliver crack cocaine and resist, delay or obstruct police.

Officers arrested Jones on warrants for the drug violations. During the arrest, he attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended after an officer used a Taser on him.

He was placed in the Moore County Jail under a $6,000 secured bond.
