A Carthage man was arrested Tuesday and charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

Moore County Sheriff's deputies arrested Gary Scott Bailey, 30, of 268 Riverside Road, in relation to a car stolen from a Carthage home early Monday.

Bailey was charged him with one count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle, one count of felony possession of stolen vehicle and one count of felony break and enter a motor vehicle.

His received a $1,000 secured bond, and his first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 19 in Moore County District Court.

The vehicle was located in Sanford, N.C. and returned to the owner.
