The Sandhills Chapter of the Military Officers Assocation of America (MOAA) luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Belle Meade Retirement Resort.

Registration is at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon.

Gregory G. Bean (Col., USA retired) will be the featured speaker. He is the director of public works at Ft. Bragg. Bean's responsibilities for maintenance, repair, utilities, environmental protection and forestry management encompass the entire 250 square miles of the Ft. Bragg military reservation. Bean will discuss the impacts of the expansion at Ft. Bragg to accommodate the Base Realignment and Closure Commission decisions.
