WEB: Sheriff's Office Announces Three Arrests

Moore County Sheriff's deputies announced a trio of arrests Monday.

Officers charged a Raleigh man Friday with felony larceny and misdemeanor injury to real property in relation to a Jan. 24 larceny of a trailer.

Harold Eugene Funderburk, 57, of 109 Merwin Road, was charged in the incident, reported from Eagle Springs.

He was located at the Clinton Police Department and charged. He received a $5,000 secured bond and his first court appearance is schedule for Oct. 26 in Moore County District Court.

Deputies arrested a Vass man late last month in relation to a Sept. 24 breaking and entering at the Woodlake Country Club.

An employee of the country club reported that several cases of beer had been stolen.

Michael Aaron Locks, 29, of 455 River Birch Drive, was arrested Sept. 29 and charged with breaking and entering and possession of stolen goods. He received a $5,000 unsecured bond. His first court date is scheduled for Oct. 18.

Also Sept. 29, deputies charged a Vass man with larceny of a motor vehicle.

According to a Sept. 24 report, a Vass man reported his 1990 Isuzu truck as stolen.

Gene Kimball, 28, of 188 Kimball Court, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

His bond was set at $5,000, and his first court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 18.
