The Junior League of Moore County and Elliott's on Linden will be hosting an exclusive Wine Tasting Event to benefit the Junior Leagues community programs on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Elliott's on Linden, 905 Linden Rd., Pinehurst, from 7 to 9 p.m.

The cost is $25 per ticket.

"Sample smooth chardonnays, sip spicy shirazes and try hearty cabernets," says a spokesman. "Enjoy delightful hors d'oeuvres as well as cooking demonstrations and raffles.

"Space is limited for this tasting, so get your tickets early for this great fundraiser," says a spokesman.

"Enjoy a fun filled evening and help the Junior League support the needs of children in our community through innovative outreach programs such as Kids In The Kitchen, a program to educate children and parents on good nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits, and SOS Crates, a program that provides school supplies to underprivileged children throughout the school year," says the spokesman.
