Ronald Baxley, 47, of Cameron, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Red Branch Baptist Church, near Carthage, with the Revs. Chris Dickerson and Bob Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Fry and Prickett Funeral Home in Carthage and at other times at the Joan Baxley home, 469 Monroe Road, Cameron.

A native of Moore County, Mr. Baxley was a son of Joan Carlyle Baxley and the late A. R. "Junior" Baxley. He was a member of Red Branch Baptist Church and was a superintendent with S. T. Wooten Corp. of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his father on July 5, 2006.

Mr. Baxley is survived by his wife, Judy Rouse Baxley; his daughter, Amanda B. Williams and her husband, Tom, of Cameron; his two sons, Brandon Baxley and his wife, Melissa, of Cameron and Matthew Baxley of the home; his mother, Joan Carlyle Baxley of Cameron; his sister, Robin B. Boyd and her husband, Jerry Waylon, of Carthage; and three grandchildren, Erica Williams, Landon Baxley and Cameron Baxley.
