Cold Stone Creamery in Aberdeen has named Amy Calcutt its new assistant manager.

She previously had been a senior shift leader at Cold Stone.

In her new position, Calcutt will be responsible for all store operations, inventory and ordering, labor scheduling, and food and labor cost calculations. She has been with Cold Stone Creamery since May.

Calcutt is a graduate of Union Pines High School, where she was a standout on the softball team, and attended Wingate University on a softball scholarship.

She also serves as an assistant coach for the Union Pines softball team.

Cold Stone Creamery is in Aberdeen Commons Shopping Center at 11088 U.S. 15-501 in Aberdeen.
