This summer 38 young people, age 8-18, are participating in a three-week summer camp. Under the guidance of Tom Dalton, education director, these young people will create a fully realized production of the "adapted" version of the 2000 Olivier Award winning musical.
George Stiles and Anthony Drewe have written a contemporary musical comedy based on "The Ugly Duckling," by Hans Christian Andersen. In this modern retelling, Ugly, a gawky and odd-looking duckling must find his way back home to his loving family, elude a hungry cat, and learn some important lessons along the way, among them, "to just believe in yourself."
