Bright Star Children's Theater Brings History to Life

In "Jack's Adventure in American History," the title character is studying for an American history test when he finds himself traveling through significant chapters in our nation's history and meeting important figures, such as Virginia Dare, George Washington, and Orville and Wilbur Wright.
Admission is free.
Bright Star has packed the production with audience participation that will have young audience volunteers reliving moments from history, from helping draft the U.S. Constitution to working on a Ford Motor Company assembly line.
The N.C. Museum of History's hours are Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
The museum is part of the Division of State History Museums, Office of Archives and History, an agency of the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources.
