Cape Fear Regional Theatre, in conjunction with Fayetteville State University, announces auditions for George Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess," will be held Wednesday, Jan. 3, from 6 to 9 p.m., for ages 16 and up.

All auditions will be held at Cape Fear Regional Theatre, 1209 Hay Street, Fayetteville.

All roles are still available, including 25 principals and a large ensemble. Singers and dancers are needed.

Auditionees should be prepared to sing a 16-bar song selection.

Accompaniment will be provided and a dance combination will be given.

Auditionees will be seen in their order of arrival. Headshots and resumes will be accepted but are not required.

"Porgy and Bess" runs March 9-17, at the newly renovated Seabrook Auditiorium at Fayetteville State University.
