WEB: Trio of Area Residents Arrested on Meth Trafficking Charges

After an eight month-long investigation and the seizure of $24,800 in drugs, Moore County Sheriff's deputies arrested three area men Wednesday on multiple drug charges, including trafficking methamphetamine.

Along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the Robbins Police Department, deputies conducted an undercover investigation that led them to three Robbins area residences.

During the searches of 381 Virginia Ave., 401 Virginia Ave. and 188 Rocky Hill Lane, officers seized about 71 grams of methamphetamine (ice), one firearm, $923, two motor vehicles and digital scales.

In all, officers seized about 175 grams of methamphetamine (ice), 28 grams of marijuana and two grams of powder cocaine during the investigation.

Deputies arrested Randy Justin Saunders, 22, of 381 Virginia Ave. in Robbins, Jamie Lynn Brady, 31, of 188 Rocky Hill Lane in Carthage and Joseph Shawn Saunders, 19, of 401 Virginia Avenue in Robbins.

Randy Justin Saunders was charged with nine counts of trafficking methamphetamine, two counts of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, five counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, five counts of sell or deliver methamphetamine, five counts of felony possession of methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to sell methamphetamine, one count of conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, four counts of maintaining a place to keep controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, and sell or deliver marijuana.

He received a $1,000,000 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.

Brady was charged with four counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, two counts of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine, two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, two counts of felony possession of methamphetamine, one count of sell or deliver methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, one count of sell or deliver cocaine, one count of felony possession of cocaine, two counts of maintaining a place to keep controlled substance, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brady received a $1,000,000 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.

Joseph Shawn Saunders was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joseph Shawn Saunders received a $25,000 secured bond and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center.
