Jessie McKenzie Neal, 92, of Bear Creek, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Fair Promise United Methodist Church, 192 Siler City-Glendon Rd., Robbins, conducted by the Rev. Ken Buckingham and the Rev. Bob Gelsthorpe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Sunday) at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 N. Second Ave., Siler City.

Mrs. Neal was a native of Moore County and was a member of Fair Promise United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis C. Neal; a daughter, Beatrice Beal; a grandson, Timmie Oldham, and a great-grandson, Nicky Hughes.

Surviving are daughters, Marie N. Barber and her husband, Ray; Bobbie N. Phillips and her husband, Odell; Ann N. Thomas and her husband, Larry; and Lois N. Oldham, all of Bear Creek; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
