Torrey Lowe of Southern Pines has been named to the USA South All-Conference second team on offense after accumulating 1,386 all-purpose yards for the Greensboro College football team this season.

The former Pinecrest star didn't quite match the production of his freshman year, when he made the USA South first team and was also the league's rookie of the year.

Lowe set four Pride single season records last year and will begin his junior campaign just three catches short of the career record for receptions (122) and 224 yards short of the career mark for total receiving yards (1,512).

The Division III Pride finished the season with a record of 3-7. Lowe picked up yards in five different ways, scoring three touchdowns and throwing for another in the process. He caught 49 passes for 546 and two scores. He rushed for 338 yards on 68 attempts and one touchdown, and completed two of five passes for 38. He also returned 19 kickoffs for 396 yards and five punts for 71.
