Cricket Gentry's Augenblick, or "Augie" won eight out of nine classes in the super low hunter division throughout the Foxtrack Summer Schooling Show Series to claim the championships saddle pad and tri-colored ribbon on Aug. 6.

"Augie is such a solid citizen," Gentry said. "From showing in dressage to going bareback to swim in the pond to low hunter champion, what a versatile horse. He has been trying to tell me for years that he wanted to be a hunter. I finally listened."

Don and Perci Warren's Cabin Branch Tack Shop sponsored the championship awards, printed saddle pads for the hunter divisions and decorated brushes for the equitation, for the fifth year of the series. Two members of the Warren family earned championships. Trish Warren and Wolfie topped the Low Hunter division, and Rebecca Warren, 11, claimed the short stirrup prize aboard Foxtrack's Captain. Rebecca is the daughter of Trish and Don Warren.

Wolfie is a 13-year-old Thoroughbred mare owned by Don and Perci Warren. Trish has been riding the mare three years. "She's just my type of horse," Trish Warren said. "She's very low key, you have to inspire her. We started out in the long stirrup, and gradually moved up."

Foxtrack riders Rachel Hudson and Beth Pennington earned championships catch riding Foxtrack horses Townsend Hill and Zinnia, respectively. It was a bittersweet win for Hudson, who is hanging up her boots and heading off to college.

The youngest champion pinned at Foxtrack on Sunday was Kyley Paules, 6, daughter of Cindy and Dennis Paules of Vass. Paules, partnered with Foxtrack's Freckles, topped the walk trot division after learning her posting diagonals in one session. "She's just a very focused child," said her mother Cindy.
