Sponsored by the Relay for Life Team at Emmanuel Baptist Church, the event offers bicyclists the opportunity to tackle one of three different rides.

Proceeds from the ride go to the American Cancer Society.

The three different races are a 20K, a 40K and a 100K.

The course covers three counties -- Moore, Chatham and Lee -- starting at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Carthage and heading toward Highfalls.

From there it crosses over into Chatham for a short while, back into Moore County and then through a corner of Lee County before ending back at the church.

The 100K starts at 8 a.m. with the other rides to follow shortly thereafter.

Registration on the day of the race is $25.
