Adams is well known in the Pinehurst tennis community, having been involved and directed several programs at various local clubs. He has also been involved with the Moore County Tennis Program which promotes the game of tennis to all ages within Moore County.
Adams is a USPTR certified teaching professional and was most recently director of tennis at the National Club. He is a past president of Moore Tennis, a USTA Community Tennis Association, and currently serves on its Board of Directors. As a former high school tennis coach, he brings 45 years of teaching to Seven Lakes.
Adams will be offering junior tennis clinics for beginners to intermediate players, focusing on enhancing stroke development and control. Additional clinics will be offered as the season progresses. Youth clinics will be offered after school and also on Saturdays.
Adult clinics will be offered, from beginner to USTA team play, with time and dates announced shortly.
Private and semi-private lessons will be available for players of all levels.
The tennis shop will offer equipment for basic tennis needs. Next-day stringing will also be available. The tennis shop will be open each morning, Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until noon and from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., effective Aug. 14. Court time and lessons can be arranged at that time.
