"The Rainbows Bridge "
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.
Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
lov ya' both
To both of my little Angels that passed away in 2006 and 2008. I will never forget you.
May God hold you both close and take care of you until I get there.
'Fly, Fly Little Wings'
Fly, fly Little Wings
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wings of Heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Fly, fly Little Wings
Fly to where the Angels sing
Leave this lonely world called earth
Escape the sorrow and the pain
Fly, fly to a new birth in Heaven’s realm
Fly, fly Precious One
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this earth
Cross over to the other shore
Where there is love, happiness & peace forever more
But I'll hold your memory bittersweet
Until we meet - on Heaven’s shore
Fly, fly do not fear
Your heart is Pure, Your soul is Free
Be on your way - don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
Far beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I will never forget your Precious Love
from the day we met.
Fly, Fly Little Wings
Fly where only Angels sing
Go Now - Toward the Light
In Ref. to this part of your comment, above:
“So is it any wonder why African-Americans voted almost unanimously for
a president whose grandmother, just like theirs, could not even order a hamburger from inside a bad café or sit with a white child waiting for a train?"
*? - Africa served hamburgers WAY BACK then - ?*
Why does the GOP insist on telling lies?
Do they believe that “We The People” are that stupid?
It’s not the color of one’s skin that makes a persons character. It’s the color of their soul.
When you go to your place of worship, perhaps you may want to ask God, “What color His & His Son, Jesus, skin is“.
Have you ever seen little children (1 to 3 years old) at play? They see one another with their soul’s eyes. Why can’t we, the so called responsible adults, be more like the little children at play - They are God’s flower garden - They are beautiful - Their souls radiates with love.
Remember God’s word:
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
As a parent, I’m sure you want the best for your children.
Hatred is the path to Hell. Is this the path that you are putting into place for your children, through your teaching and examples that you set every day?
Another reading of God’s word that you may want to consider:
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
How many hungry, little children did you share your bread with today?
May God forgive the GOP and the KKK
