Load 'em onto flat rail cars up at Dunrovin' and let the train haul 'em down to Pinebluff.

Godfathers in Asheboro failed because it was crammed way back in a corner of the shopping center where no one could see it. If the Southern Pines store is not visible from the highway I would suggest a massive ad campaign and signs that people can see. I loved the old Godfathers in Rockingham from about 25 years ago. I hope this one will be as good!

I'm curious to know where the name "Beasley" came from for Thelma Lou. Please note the episode where she is given this as a last name - I don't think she ever had a last name on the show.

Offshore drilling is a beautiful thing. Just ask the people who live along the Gulf Coast.

It just makes me sick to hear the fake accent that Dolly Parton tries to pass off. :-)

Richest or poorest - it doesn't matter. Members of Congress are each wealthier than their average constituent, and live by their own set of rules that aren't enjoyed by the people who elect them.

The problem with electing someone else is the fact that they are also quickly corrupted by the system. Just look at NC's 8th District for an example. "Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss." He actually used this song as a campaign theme, except he only heard the words, "We won't be fooled again."

Yeah, right.

Much of what he said is true, but not all farmers work for the big corporations - many of the best farmers are your small, local neighbors and friends who do the work for you to raise healthy, locally grown food that doesn't have to be shipped thousands of miles to your supermarket, and they don't have to finance a $300,000 tractor to grow it. Look at your local farmers' markets for the freshest, local farm products!
