JD, I did not catch where they addressed drowning creek in your article. If fact, the article was about groundwater contamination and was not very definitive. If you read the initial reports, they are inconclusive. Maybe we need to be more careful than they were in Wyoming. Maybe we need to get better technology before we allow fracking. Maybe its a bad idea and we just need to suck it up and spend more on energy.

Drowning Creek is above normal levels according to NOAA.

Hopefully, if we all don't drink water in restaurants, the situation will get better.

JD, exactly how will fracking affect water in drowning creek?

Actually, I'm a recovering addict and have been clean many years. I know what I am talking about.

I agree FFWF, there is a well known Doc in town that basically advertises pain meds and all the addicts know they can go there and get a prescription easily.

I will use the Village Acres neighborhood as a cut through and just drive the speed limit. Why wouldn't they just urge us to go the speed limit instead?

The six lanes are as follows: Two lanes each direction going through, one lane as a dedicated lane for entering a new off ramp going north towards pinecrest that will circle back to head down hwy 1 towards aberdeen and the last lane is a lane between traffic, I guess for future growth and to keep traffic separated.

"In addition to the cash, law enforcement officers seized a little more than an ounce of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, and illegal prescription opiate drugs, the release said."

"The charges are all misdemeanors punishable by a maximum of six months in jail."

Dang, they got off easy.

Well it doesn't say much about Obama at all, since the Republicans are putting up Bozo the Clown as the opposition.

Once again, we get to vote for who is the least damaging. For the record, I'll vote for Bozo the Clown over Obama any day.

It's a known fact that 83% of all statistics are made up on the spot

@ lakeview,

Now I have something to go on,

Yes I realize that not everyone who voted for the amendment is a bible thumping evangelical whack job. I also understand that both democrat and republican voted both for and against the amendment, I have no statistical information regarding the percentages yet and how they voted.

Having said that, My guy would be 90 percent of people who consider themselves people of the book voted for the amendment and Ill give myself a +/- 3 percent on that.

I would say that 15% of people who consider themselves antheists/agnostics/unaffliliated etc voted for the amendment while 85% voted against it again with a +/- 3 percent.

I would hazard a guess to say that more republicans then democrates voted for the bill then against. Now me I am a conservative, republican, christian who voted against the amendment so I fall into a small category.

Having said all that you still have not quantified what it is I dont understand.
