I have never so thoroughly enjoyed watching a presidential candidate's campaign implode. To Romney's handlers...he almost looks "life-like" but he is in serious need of an empathy chip.
What a wonderful story about an inspiring young man! Glad to know the memories of these veterans have been memorialized with such a special tribute. This sure gives me faith in the youth of today- kudos, Mr. Reed!
Who can I contact to help volunteer and get a yard sign? So glad we've got a group actively campaigning against this discriminatory amendment!
First Tee did a top-notch job organizing this event!! The setting was beautiful, the weather was perfect and Vince put on a wonderful show! Hope he will come back next year!
Here is the Farmer's Market schedule:
Monday, First Health from 2 to 6pm
Wednesday, Sandhills College from 3 to 5:30pm
Thursday, Southern Pines Armory from 9am to 1pm
Friday, Pinehurst Village Green from 10am to 1 pm
Saturday- Southern Pines from 8am to 12 pm and Aberdeen from 8am to 12pm
*Please keep in mind that there are only so many vendors to go around- they all work hard to ensure that they are well represented locally. So please stop knocking Pinehurst for trying to draw more customers to the market in their area! Every location should do the same and if you can get there- GREAT! If not, you really have no excuse to complain as there is plenty of local access to farmer's markets.
Castration is the only help for these sickos!
@bigD- I believe Minnie is using a little of we "left leaning" bloggers refer to as good ole' sarcasm.
Kudos to Aberdeen for stepping up and offering to host the run this year! I am looking forward to it as always!
What a horrible tragedy! I am praying for the family of the victim- may God hold you up during this very sad time.
Am I reading this correctly? Ms. Myatt and Ms. Mortenson believe that events like Live After 5, the Farmer's Market, the St. Patrick's Day parade and U.S. Kids Golf events are HURTING their business? I think not. These events can only improve the image of downtown Pinehurst. What is hurting their business is the outrageously-priced merchandise they sell and their nasty attitudes. I will make sure I steer very clear of these establishments- they need all the room they can get for their egos.
