That looks like a fat female in baggy clothes.
I'm ashamed of the "animal" comment. I shouldn't have made it. I agree with Mythreekids...this is quite ironic.
My thoughts and prayers are with this officer and his family! I do have a bit of curiosity about the perp, though. Has anyone heard of anyone in custody or any suspects? We need this animal captured!
I used to work on a Cardiac step-down unit at UNC-Hospitals. At least once a month, there would be some patient from Central Prison undergoing a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft...or open heart surgery...or having a pacemaker placed...or a defibrillator. Not to mention the diagnostic testing or the 'round the clock guard who would stay with the patient. For all of you who say our tax dollars don't go for "decent medical care" for these prisoners, please explain to me who pays for it!
BTW who paid for Mr. Stewarts' hospital stay while recuperating from his shotgun wound??? Do tell !!!
You are not mistaken, clbvpm.
I worked for serveral years at UNC-Hospitals on a step-down cardiac unit. At least once a month, an inmate from Central Prison was on my floor for a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft...or open heart surgery...or a pacemaker....or a defibrillator...not to mention round the clock prison guards to stay with the patient. Who paid for that, Dusty?
SECOND degree murder...WOW!
APPEALING the sentence...WOW!
OUR justice system...WOW!
Good grief almighty!!!!!! The streets of downtown Southern Pines are going to be more gobbed up than a year old bottle of Elmer's Glue...!!!
Another thought is that I don't want to pay for another trial for this cat-bird (since i can't curse). I don't want a juror spouting out details, that may make him eligibile for another trial, over dinner with family and friends.
