Hmmm....I've had an incurable disease since my 30s and I've always been able to get insurance. I just have to pay more. I guess I don't feel it is up to the other tax payers to fund my insurance. And 26 is the age a child can be on their parent's insurance?? 26??? That isn't a child, that is an adult. That just causes our premiums to go up. They say this Obamacare will save 45000 lives a year. A life or death situation. If that many people are dying because of not having insurance, why is it going to take several years to kick in??? Oh yeah, pay for ten years, insurance for six. Government has ruined Medicare and Social Security. Not one program the government runs is financially successful. Not one.

The recidivism rate for armed robbers who were shot and killed has dropped dramatically.

More money will be spent today, tomorrow, next week and all of this year on catching a non-violent, adult marijuana smoker in his/her home then to catch these criminals who commit an armed robbery. Sad, isn't it? http://www.leap.cc

If you want to keep drugs out of the hands of a child, then legalize the drugs and regulate them. It is easier for a kid to get drugs than alcohol. This is because alcohol is legalized and regulated. The ABC DOES card and won't sell to minors. Some drug dealers will sell to minors. So take the drugs out of the drug dealers hands and put it into the hands of responsible adults. Legalize and regulate drugs and watch the violence end at our border and in our streets. Prohibition doesn't work. Didn't work with alcohol and isn't working with street drugs. www.leap.cc>

What a shame pets have to die because of an owner's negligence.

Prohibition doesn't work. Didn't with alcohol, doesn't with marijuana. Marijuana is a plant, not a drug. In 15 States, one would be called a patient. In North Carolina, a criminal. In a free country, what one does in the privacy of their own home is their own business. In America, we're now getting salt and soda attacked. End the drug war and criminals lose their funding. It is that simple. Some people need to be informed instead of just opinionated. Check out LEAP (Law Enforcement Against Prohibition) www.leap.cc>

They say he was charged with possession, so it goes to figure he wasn't driving under the influence or he would have been charged with that as well. Perhaps he was traveling home with a new purchase and just happened to do an infraction which is harmless. Perhaps he was headed home to use marijuana in the privacy of his home and therefore is another jailed, non-violent offender. Drugs are bad. The drug war is worse. Check out www.leap.cc>
