Want to give a homeless animal a home?Go to an animal shelter
I am not bashing anybody I think it is admirable that someone has dedicated their life to saving animals. As I stated earlier not trying to discourage people from adopting but I do not think most people realize what an in depth frustrating experience it can be to know you want to adopt and not be allowed to.

A Word of Advice to Rescue Groups
I totally agree the Humane Society and the Moore County Animal Control were GREAT and I do not want anyone to think they should not adopt a homeless pet because they are the best too.Just begging rescue groups to not make it so difficult.I LOVE my pets and would never do anything to make their life difficult.

Want to give a homeless animal a home?Go to an animal shelter
I would like to first say I am "attacking" no one I only posted the name because I was asked to.Second as you can see no accusations about animal care have been made here.Yes the animal I wanted to adopt had been injured and if being concerned about that is an accusation then oops I am sorry.I did not set out to adopt a male companion for my dog it just worked out the only puppy we found was male(neutered) and we wanted to adopt instead of buying from an indivdual or breeder. We have a high energy pet who needs a young companion to keep up with her.We are not breeders nor do I ever intend to breed my dog .The decision to not spay her was ours to make and we made it out of concern for our pet's health and happiness. We also were not guaranteed an adoption if we spayed her only a reconsideration. My problem is after phone calls and e-mails we drove 45 minutes and were allowed to visit with the puppy we wanted to adopt for over an hour(just long enough to realize what a great dog he was) before being told we were not going to be allowed to adopt him.It was not mentioned on the website or until that moment that having every pet fixed was a requirement to adopt. We thought having a loving home and a large fenced yard was enough.I only think people should be made aware of all the rules and stipulations beforehand so they do not leave thinking wow I am not even good enough to adopt a homeless animal
