This is terrible. A sad day in our community. I pray for the officers family. We have good officers hurt/killed in the line of duty doing a good job to protect us then we have a sorry NO GOOD cop out there doing wrong and people are calling him a stand up man......SHAME ON MOORE COUNTY. We need to push for the max on officers using their jobs to harm the public and we need to also push for the max on the public that hurt or kill our beloved officers.
@ alaska4u.....if he forceably had sex with a motorist in exchange for not getting a ticket that is no where near an even trade ....its RAPE. Come on give me a break........
Innocent until proven guilty is RIGHT......but would this family feel this way if the victim was their daughter??????I think NOT!
Well, I have read the story and I know that the SBI, and the District Attorney's office would not put the spotlight on themselves and their offices to hurt one of their own UNLESS there was evidence to support the charges. I know Travis and his family. I hate that this has happened and Travis has put himself in a compromising position that could very possibly end his career.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims.
