As a friend of the parents of a child at the Academy I want to mention that there is more to a school than test scores. This shy sweet child was lost in the public school system and was in danger of becoming functionally illiterate. The Academy has given her confidence, one on one tutoring and small classes. She is still struggling academically but is motivated and proud of her significant progress. If she goes back to traditional public schools she will sink like a rock. People need to visit this little gem of a school and see what is going on. One size does not fit all in education
