I totally agree- This guy has consumed enough of our lives here in MOCO... I am sick of seeing his smug face- everywhere...
This article has nothing to do with the herd count- It is about the wetlands that were impacted... If infact this realtor has been here for a while then it is his/her responsibility to know what he/she is selling... I am not a realtor - BUT I still know that is a wet area.. and always has been...
I have lived here all of my life...with alot of you, whom have commented on here... I have always know that the piece of property in question here... IS WET!! it always has been and it always will be.- NOW there are AlOT of people to blame for this situation.... this Couple is probably the only ones who would have NEVER know that this property is wet... they aren't from here and these last few years have been exceptionaly dry... the facts are - if you are bringing in fill and your crew is having to build a bridge - then you are proably in wetlands.... Rod Lynch is no dummy - he knew good and well this was a potiential problem... he didn't care- as long as the check didn't bounce- it was up to the property owner to get a permit.... so these poor people are stuck with a mess... It matters not at all how many horses or what size property it is - only that now they have been blindsided... and taken advantage of...my Heart goes out to this couple... I hope that you can work it out..
RIP Ben, Our condolences go out to your Friends and Family.
Thank you for all that you gave.
Let's be clear on this: OBAMA did NOT kill Bin Laden. An American soldier, who Obama just a few weeks ago was debating on whether or not to PAY, did. Obama just happened to be the one in office when our soldiers finally found him and took him out. This is NOT an Obama victory, but an AMERICAN victory!! These are MY sons out there giving their lives so that we can sit here safely and reply. And it is their Families who were wondering If they would be able to pay their bills. Therefore it is an American Victory!
We have visited a few times and I have to say that the place is great- it is kinda like hanging out in my friends garage. The staff is Wonderful, the cornhole is free, and beer is Great. Just what we needed in Moore County- Timeing is everthing.. Great job Guys!!!
I guess NCDOR has to do these kind of things to generate all the tax money that they owe the residents (like me) of NC.
It really is too bad that The Pilot didn't wait to talk to the owners before stirring the pot once again... I guess when you are a small town newspaper you must do what you have to just to make the ends meet... but I guess that is the same thing that is going on with the Lobsteer...
Lets hope for a speedy return for a great local icon..
Way to go Marci!!! It is very well deserved and ,We, the families of the Moore County Students that you teach, already knew what a talented and gifted teacher, friend, and roll model you are... Congrats.... and Good luck in the next Round.
Wow- Is this what the community is all about? Petty , snide jabs at one another?- this is out of hand. Too Bad!
I agree Chuck- remember just a few weeks ago we were talking about those tracks and the trains - I have known these people all my life and I have never heard either of them say a bad word to any one... I think Gracie has worked at that store most of my life and a majority of hers...so now this is what they have to look forward to... I, too, will be interested in how this is handled and will be the first one to raise cain if I feel it is unfair....We need to pray for Genes recovery.
