Matching grants and the funds they’re matched with are all taxpayer dollars. That several non-Americans came to America and did the following: completed training in flight schools, practiced flying on video game simulators, bought pocket knives and razor blades, bought plane tickets, used the knives and razor blades to take over the planes, flew them into buildings and killed thousands. Wait a minute......that really happened! But did the government permanently close all flight schools and ban the sell of knives, razor blades and flight simulator video games? No.
Moony, the state will be fine without your taxes. In fact, much better off since you won’t be a drain on government and corporate benefits that you think you are entitled to. So please leave and take your taxes and wine with you.

Hwy 5 is a NC DOT highway and signs are allowed along NC road right of ways regardless of local restrictions or laws. However; permission from the property owner still has to be obtained before a sign can be placed on the road ROW in front of their house or business. Sadly, if the property owner removes a sign they did not approve, they are a thief and can be charged with a misdemeanor. But the arrogant person placing the sign faces no penalty even if they place 100 signs, there's no penalty for them.
Personally think she was just cleaning up litter, no matter what the signs say. There are signs on both sides of the issue being stolen, but the Pilot favors one side so that's what is printed. There are too many signs, phone calls and ads. If I want to know about a candidate or amendment, I do my research.
The law allowing these signs and clearing of trees along road ROW is sickening and shows the values of the politicians that voted for these laws.
The Pinehurst Police Dept. should give her a warning because this is a NEW, misunderstood law. If she is charged, then charges should be made for every sign still in place 10 days after the elections are over, also as the law states.
