Bless your heart darlin'. If you think killing copperheads is a 'crime' than we're serial killers around here. This is coming from a Yankee who has been here longer than it takes to walk a couple times around the resevoir. Thank you, for making sure the arrogant Yankee stereotype stays relevant.

@anonymous profit... Please, please, PLEASE do me a favor and let us know when you have to go to court for a ticket!! I have been to several trainings regarding Sovereign Citizens such as yourself and I would LOVE to see you get your bee-hind handed to you in court for being so misled. Are you still waiting on your $$ from your 'strawman'? Good grief and bless your heart is all I can say... as I'm laughing at the thought of you being drug out your 'vessel' window when you refuse to show a LEO your license.

sassy74- your one man support group pales in comparison to the sigh of relief felt by a majority of the county that this thug won't prey on another victim. If I was a pos thug I wouldn't blame ALL of society for speaking ill of me and celebrating upon my demise. Please don't continue to hail this 'man' at his death and hold him up as we should be remorseful. It will continue to fall on deaf and un-moved ears. Perhaps your support will be more positively received at the memorial tomorrow; but not here.

FOR EVERYONE ON HERE THAT WANTS TO TALK CRAP ABOUT THE SHAW BOY NEEDS TO GO GET A LIFE. IT DON'T MATTER ON WHAT KIND OF BACKGROUND THAT HE HAD.

I beg to differ. It absolutely makes a difference what kind of background he had. He was a burden on society. He's been in the spotlight more times than we care to hear/read about whether he got off on technicalities or not. He epitomizes exactly what is wrong with the young black culture (read history of violence, illigitimate children, 50+witnesses, but no one saw sh**...etc) I'm quite sure that as a tax payer I'm already taking care of his children. No love lost. The only thing that makes me sad is that his parent didn't do a better job raising him.

If he would have been home with one of his six children (yes SIX children at age 28) instead of out runnin the hood he might be alive right now. Blame the lifestyle. No one 'deserves' to die like that some of you say? You play with fire... you get burned. No pun intended of course.

I was walking downtown on Monday and the same thing happened to me. Too funny! It was a car full of white kids. Far from being a teenager, I took it as a compliment. Fast forward eight years when my baby is a teenager though and I could see my protective husband being up in arms as well about his 'little girl.' I suspect people are on edge due to the recent, publicized crimes of late. Always good to be aware of your surroundings.

What about a mask, Mr. Smith? Is 'gangsta' only in the observer's heart there as well? I'm sure the store clerk at the Kangaroo this morning would have had a warmer, fuzzier heart if only that young black man would have been wearing a hoodie instead of a mask when he shot him in the back.

Better safe than sorry. I'll move across the street 10 out of 10 times. Statistics don't lie folks.

How do you know enough to be so polarized? Every time I read an article on this incident it has new and/or conflicting information. I am intelligent enought to know that basically, I don't know what transpired. Standing out there holding signs makes you look like sheep... or race baiters. Take your pick.
