Congratulations to the four selected I wish you well. However I question how a one year internship prepares them and qualifies them to automatically be placed in a school as a principal? How are they more qualified than someone who took the time to get their Masters Degree and then earn experience as an Assistant Principal? I cannot foresee these folks getting and earning respect of their peers or those that are passed over for a Principal who is currently an AP for someone with no real experience.
Again I congratulate those selected and wish you well in your future endeavors.
Great idea glad to see this!
Agreed and wish the town would build some sidewalks, bike lanes and more stuff for the kids. We need a community center so more programs can be offered like after school program, more camps, etc. and preferably before my kids are college age. Forget the unnecessary parking deck and focus on the trails, paths, sidewalks and rec center please for the younger families in the Village. Love the new disc golf course off Chicken Plant road too!
They need to remove more in the middle so there is some new growth by letting sunlight through the canopy. If not that stand will all die close to same age with no new pines to take their place.
The Village should buy it for parking at the Arboretum. IF, and it's a big IF, it can be bought at a reasonable price.
JD is spot on. The zombie apocalypse is more likely than terrorists in our yards! I'm going to buy my crossbow now!
So they want to put a YMCA on Morganton Road, only a mile or so from the Boys & Girls Club? Why? We already have 4 recreation departments in the county plus the B&G club...this makes no sense to me.
Glad to see the Christmas Spirit is alive and well! May Santa bring all the negative bloggers lumps of coal in their stockings! :-) Just kidding, Merry Christmas everyone...hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday!
Where's Ross Perot when we need him? :-)
Quit reading then RD, then you won't notice the typos/errors.
