Now the State Board of Education does set certain curriculum for the schools to follow. But handwriting is not part of a curriculum it is part and parcel to English. Many schools do NOT teach penmanship of any kind. Children today rely on their computers and allied printers.

Now as to voting dates, good grief , there is NO reason there needs to be more than one day. Did you ever hear of preplanning ones time so they can go and vote? Now why so many absentee voting? we have seen through the news the massive abuse in some cities. I would cut DOWN on the absentee vote except extreme cases approved by the voting committees. Small town voting in no way is compared to major city voting. The Moore County system has functioned just fine, But nationwide some serious clampdowns need to be exercised.
The Healthcare programs was doing fine, just needing a few tweaks, until Obama and his socialist agenda decided to totally overhaul everything healthcare, without anybody having a clue what he was doing, " Just pass it and then we'll find out what's in it" Well we are learning. It IS a socialist healthcare all government controlled and metered. And IT DOES have the introduction of the so called "death Panels' It IS IN THERE. What is not in there is any controlled actions against medical lawsuits and unbridled manufacturing costs of equipment and drugs.
The healthcare Obama has set in place will be difficult to eradicate once he is gone. It will be too deeply entrenched for Republican hopefuls who promise to overturn this travesty. Obama has seriously damaged the total healthcare system in this nation and should be indicted for it [ plus a whole lot of other travesties he has perpetrated on this nation.]
