The Reuben Davis Blog: SCC Flyers, 2012 NJCAA Division III Men's Basketball National Champions
Great Blog and I do think the community should get behind the Flyers and SCC and come up with a plan to upgrade their Athletic Facilities. Congratulations to all the Flyers, Coach Apple and all the Faculty and Students at Sandhills Community College. You have made the community and surrounding area PROUD!!

Reuben's Final Thoughts on the 2011 High School Football Season
"Community support also can make a big difference. But, whether folks want successful football programs at these schools still seems to be an unanswered question"
No truer words were ever spoken than those above... The community needs to get behind the program and insist on improvement as well as offering the total support of the young men playing. We need to get more athletes into the program and community interest cvan accomplish that along with GOOD coaching!!!

Reuben's High School Football Mid-Season Report Card
I think you have done a fair job of rating the Moore County teams and particularly Union Pines.
I also agree fully with your following observation...
"I am just tired of going to simmonsratings.com and seeing the Vikings at the bottom of the 3A rankings. I am still looking and hoping for another UP win or two this season, but the chances just don't look too good."
Lets all hope that this trend is reversed over the next couple of seasons and the Vikings enjoy some post season participation in the near future.
