I could see that about the parkway. I don't need research to know people hear me approach sometimes before they see me. I have seen it for myself many times over 24 years of riding.
Have a great day.
Nope. But I do wear white or light colored shirts. And nope I don't ride a Harley either.
I was just giving my reason as to why my mufflers are loud.it helps.
Fugitiveguy-So your saying if I'm coming down the road and a driver doesn't see me and starts to pull out then happens to hear my mufflers coming and stops, the mufflers didn't make a difference? Do you drive a motorcycle-in town-with some of these older , less observant drivers around here?
Jimhiem-my guns are locked up, except for the one i am legally conceal carrying and my urine is clean.
How bout yours?I am sure we would at least find kool-aid in there.
Good luck with that,my friend. Cheers to you!
Don't let them tag team you, Thatcher, they are not worth it.
It probably was to that woman and her kids.
Tell that to the liitle old lady who went to pass someone in the oncoming lane who never saw me coming(pre loud muffler). you should have seen the look on her face when she finally saw me coming at her with nowhere to go but between the 2 cars.Or, how about the the person who quickly looks both ways ,out of habit, for cars and doesn't see me and pulls out in front of me. I do believe loud mufflers make it safer for me on the road, and, true, I also like the way they sound. These were true events. That is also why I try to stay away from main highways and stay on the back roads. You are probably right about having multiple bikes at once riding by you, but it is only a few seconds.I hardly ever ride with more than one other person and I never ride to bother someone else. I ride for my own fun and relaxation.I am sorry if I'm interrupting yours.
My opinion is because the news doesn't want that information out there.
They are in bed with you guys.
You see what I mean? No matter what you say, it is not good enough.
