In fact he was instrumental in starting Pinehurst Rescue in 1975, ran thousands of calls as a volunteer and spent countless hours in training himself and other members of the squad to serve the citizens of Moore County. Wade was instrumental in getting the tax referendum passed so that we all could have a Paramedic level EMS service that we enjoy today; the same one that I work for and even better hope you don't! Wade was one of the first four employees hired by Moore County EMS in July of 1987 and just recently retired from this service as one of the first to be able to do so. Wade is and was a great EMT that I have had the privilege of working beside of for over 20 years. Wade has also saved this county many thousands of dollars and made improvements that you'll never be able to understand. Wade isn't the reason the Pinehurst Rescue squad is "going downhill".....he is just smart enough to see that the volunteers can't keep doing what he has done for 37 years and has been the trend here he has allowed the Fire Department to handle the rescue responsibilities, thus providing better service to the citizens of Pinehurst and saving the county money. If you need to know any real facts there are plenty of [people that know the truth, so no need making up your own mistruths....Keep hiding behind that B.S. moniker of an avatar of yours because I know that the hundreds of Wade supporters won't be as nice to you as I was. Also I'd glad that you think the theft of several thousands of dollars of gear and equipment is no big deal....seeing as how we taxpayers will have to replace them...
Funny, I didn't see anywhere in the article where Mr. Garner has glaucoma or cancer?...and I guess all those thousands of people I see on Weed Wars have legitimate medical reasons to use marijuana?...bring on the corrupt doctors!
What an awesome miracle to witness....the power of God is amazing, I would have never believed I'd see Slayton walk again after seeing him lying in the middle of that road all broken and so near death. It is so inspiring to see the strength of this young man fighting to be all he was prior to the accident. Stay tough Slayton you're an amazing kid and I love you...

If you have facts about something illegal happening at the school either report it to the SRO or to the Sheriff's Department, then regardless of whether they take any action or not at least there is a public report about it that we all can access.....if not then just shut up and quit the gossip slinging...
Well it was probably struck by a large tractor trailer since there wasn't any wreckage at the scene, but from official sources it was only around 200lbs....which is still a good sized black bear.
The school sent out blanket calls so the parents could be informed that an incident happened on campus that day.....so they didn't have to hear about if in a blown out of proportion method from some internet blog or at the barbershop.....The student is out of school because he broke the law, school policy says zero tolerance on weapons at school and he will be expelled from school....unfortunately that will be the least of his worries as he will probably do some prison time and will have a felony history to worry about.
