I'm not a fan of Obama or Romney so I do not care who the Pilot endorses. I agree with 101jackson. Seems kind of presumptuous for a small home town news paper to endorse a candidate. I would be saying the same thing if it was Romney. I mean how do they do it? Did they have a vote of all the employees, just the top brass? Was it a secret ballot? Not sure what it does for the paper or the candidate to endorse someone? Is this going to sway anyones opinion?
I am free because I say I am. My freedom is not dependent on any government benefit or piece of legislation. My rights are inherent in the fact that I was born a sovereign being. They are non negotiable. Government can list them and protect them, but my rights are not theirs to give away!

B.S. They thought whatever type of rifle our government or police had in their arsenal, should be the same type of weapon the average citizenry should possess, that was the whole point.
That if the citizenry possessed weapons like the military and police, then the government would always fear the people, and they would always keep themselves in check.
We should not legislate in this country around knee jerk reactions or to what crazy people might do. We legislate as if we understood why this country was founded in the first place. Limited government.
