How do you explain to your children that it's okay to steal, in God's name,
when stealing is considered a sin? What does the Bible say about including your
child in your crime? I was taught to teach children right from wrong. That must have
been something the Methodists got wrong. Oh, well, my son will just have to forgive me
for all that misguided information I gave him many years ago.
My first post on this thread should have included "after May,8th"in reference to the
punishment for removing the signs.
As for the charges, I think involving a child in a criminal act is a criminal act.
So, a hungry person goes into a local grocery store and fills a bag with food and walks
out,it is not stealing but instead a statement to the well-fed that Moore County is
against hunger?
Punishment could include removing all political signs in Moore County then work with
Friend to Friend to see how this amendment could affect unmarried, abused women with
children. This will not happen, but if she is exposed and fined maybe she will not take
her child along on her future crime sprees.
