I'm not sure how you can be so critical of the 3-week-old political demographics in Washington, when your party had the perfect storm of power for the last 2 years. Majority in the House and Senate for longer than that. As for compromise...I believe it was Obama that suggested the "other guys" get in the back of the bus.
As the head of the Democratic Party in Moore County, your recent posts seem more like the opinion of a poor looser. I'm sure your local constituents are real proud of the results of your party while you have been at the lead.
If you take a look at the Wolf Blitzer interview w/ Dupnik, he admits he had no basis for his conclusion, just his opinion. I don't want opinion from a law officer. I want them to uphold the law. Dupnik contradicted himself in the interview stating that he had been aware of the culprit for the last 3 years. Long before Palin etc.
DR says - If you can't discern the difference between a hand lettered sign by a protester and a carefully orchestrated media campaign by an acknowledged leader in the Party, then there's really no hope of you ever engaging in a rational debate here.
If Palin is so harmless as a potential candidate, the Dems sure do spend a bunch of time on her. And, by the way, the end of life panels were removed from the original law only to me regulated back in via Medicare legislation.
1) There are no marginal rate “tax cuts” in play under the current proposal. The deal on the table is either the extension of the tax rates the country has had in place for the last decade OR the expiration of those rates. If the rates aren’t extended…the prior Clinton marginal rates take effect. AKA..Increases in marginal rates across all brackets of taxable income.
2) The Estate Tax is applied to the net worth of the estate. Not just the cash, but also the entire worth of the holdings. Liquid or not.
EXAMPLE – A 100 head dairy farm has enormous amounts of assets, which tend not to be very liquid. Tractors, Barns, Land, livestock etc. are all calculated into the estate. If your farm happens to be on a premium piece of land or you have many outbuildings, which are assets, or you have multiple 100K tractors etc. your estate can reach 5M very quickly and be very lean on cash. If the assessment is above 5M, then you have to come up with the estate tax above the 5M. Many times, the money is just not there, so business goes out of operations or is sold at fire sale prices to pay the estate tax.
So, before you begin the assault on the “rich”, understand you may be trashing a farmer or two.
Now that Dusty has figured out that profiling is a behavioral tactic, perhaps he would like to elaborate as to why he made this thread a racial issue. Pretty durn good at following the liberal script. DR plays race and class card so predictably.

Our Own Congress Is the Real Enemy
Hey Pilot....
Jimt has introduced the assination of our President into this thread. Ban him. I despise the policies of Obama administration, but this is outrageous.

Congress Is a Disgrace
Two important tax notes:
1) There are no marginal rate “tax cuts” in play under the current proposal. If the rates aren’t extended…the prior Clinton marginal rates take effect.
