The Police Chiefs and Fire Chiefs Associations do not support the Viper system because it does not work well. I personally have witnessed State Troopers use their cell phone on calls because the Viper would not work. Now the State Highway patrol is looking into another form of communication so the County can't use that excuse to go to Viper.
@SH59- The Health Department can only shut down a well if it is contaminated and it can still be used for garden irrigation depending what its contaminated with. Your grass can always be irrigated unless you have something like petroleum leaking into it from a fuel tank.
The most fun I ever had at Caraway was the Turkey 200. Sometime in the mid 80's some friends and myself built a 74 Cadillac with a 500 cubic inch engine, most likely the heavyest car on the track(except for the guy that poured cement in the doors of his Ford Granada). It was not the fastest but one thing was for sure, noboby could move it out of the way with their bumper.
If all these stores sold merchandise that was made in the USA we would be out of debt in no time and our factories would reopen. This year I have gone online and located where to buy US made products. It makes me sick how these shoppers act crazy over sweatshop china made junk. They also will be the first ones to cry about how they can't pay off their credit card next month because of no job that was lost to china.
