@ Bflat - Normally Pinehurst is very strict about the signs they allow, but do not regulate political signs like this because they are protected by free speech. I personally was glad to see the signs gone, butnot under these circumstances. I do find it incredibly interesting that someone would press charges over something like this when I've seen pictures of signs supporting the Amendment burned, trashed, even defecated on by a person's dog. Rather than press charges, Vote for America reached out and raised more money for more signs. Should this man's signs have been stolen? No. Is she the best representation of the Amendment's supporters? No. Should there be a double standard for her and not the other side for doing the same thing without getting caught? Heck no.

Frank didn't write the article for the Pilot, he wrote the report they cited, so it sounds like the reporter had some issues in telling the story correctly, not Frank. Frank Ringleberg is a dedicated and highly trained Animal Control Officer and a compassionate animal advocate. Its funny that people are so quick to forget all of the many rescues he and the other officers have performed over the years all because of two stray dogs. If these dogs weren't a problem, Animal Control would not have been called in the first place. This is about as ridiculous as that woman at the traffic circle crying over a chicken that fell off the truck on the way to the processing plant.

Doubtful. This program came into being because the state needed to put a positive spin on the fact that they were downsizing programs and cutting jobs. To an extent, this type of service was already being offered at most of the local health departments. Anyway, they only use nurses and social workers.

Wait, I definately got a different impression of your belief system when you told someone to go "thump their bible somewhere else."

Now, I do not believe that every Christian believes the same thing, but what it all boils down to is not what you or I say to be right, but what the Bible says to be right. What does the Bible say about the subject you're commenting on?

Wow, it didn't even take an hour for someone to start tearing me down.

Thank you, James, for pointing out the obvious. We're wrong for drawing the line, but it has to be drawn somewhere and by someone.
