Excellent response. Now days, the main ones that are expecting their wives to treat them in this manner are the ones who are camped out on the couch, collecting an unemployment check and nursing a case of beer. (And of course, wearing the signature white tank top).

It always amazes me the amount of effort and manual labor that people will go through in order to go in and strip a house of all the copper, just to end up with a little bit of pocket change. Not to mention the risk of getting caught and arrested. For all the work they put in, these idiots could go get an actual job with actual benefits and an actual paycheck. Oh wait, I guess that would be too much like work.

With that low of a bond, it was probably a sawed off shotgun. They're considered to be weapons of mass destruction.

Exactly. You took the words right out of my mouth. Case in point, Wikipedia.

I agree with you 100 percent. I was just trying to get him to utilize some alternate resources.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not a tree hugger or anything, but it makes absolutely no sense to destroy all of those trees and then spend a million plus dollars to put up a guard rail system. If the DOT is so concerned about the potential of cars veering off of the roadway and into oncoming traffic on the opposite side, then why dont we have guardrails right down the middle of every 2 lane road?? Think about it, we typically drive on a 2 lane road the majority of the time. Cars passing by each other in excess of 55 mph with only a matter of a couple of feet and sometimes just inches between each other. You have a greater chance of being involved in a head on fatal collision on Hwy 211 or Union Ch. Rd. than on U.S. 1. I'm all about traffic safety, but there's absolutely no logic behind this.

Yes he could have, but I had given him a particular assignment to complete for me because he had got in trouble. Part of the assignment was to collect his information from books, newspapers, etc. and no use of the internet. Dont misunderstand me, he's very proficient with computers and the internet, as he should be in this day and age, but I just feel like sometimes we as a society are getting away from the basics.

Spot on. The age of technology is a great thing, but I realized there was an big problem when I handed my 14 yr old son an encyclopedia, told him to look up something, and he had no idea how to use it.
